Summer Positions - Apply here for Summer 2018!

Cabin Leader – must be 18 yrs or older, 16 positions, 7 weeks, $45-$60/day  ($270-$360/week)

Manage the health, welfare, and development of a group of 4 to 8 campers. Lead and assist in program areas, and one or more weeks may be spent as support staff in the program, kitchen or maintenance areas of camp.  Previous camping experience is preferred.  Will live in cabin with a group.  Current lifeguard, WFA, WFR, Low ropes or archery certification adds $5/day.

Lifeguard – must be 18 yrs or older, 2 position, 7.5 weeks, 55-$60/day  ($330- $360/week) 

Assists Waterfront Director in planning and implementing fun, safe water activities.  Serve as support staff in program, maintenance, and kitchen areas as camp needs determine.  Will live with a cabin group, providing support to the cabin leader.  Current lifeguard certification is required.

Arts & Crafts Coordinator – must be 18 yrs or older, 1 position, 7.5 weeks, $50-$55/day  ($300-$330/week)

Plans and implements a creative arts and crafts program incorporating the values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility and natural materials whenever possible.  Maintains inventory and orders supplies as needed.  Will live with a cabin group, providing support to the cabin leader.

Multimedia Coordinator – must be 18 yrs or older, 1 position, 7.5 weeks, $50-$55/day ($300-$330/week)

Coordinates and implements all of camp's multimedia including taking, editing and posting daily photos to social media and the camp website, development of weekly camp videos, development of camp promotional videos and materials.  Will live with a cabin group, providing support to the cabin leader.

Program Specialist – must be 18 yrs or older, 2 positions, 7.5 weeks, $50-$55/day  ($300-$330/week)

Coordinates and implements all of camp's program areas including archery, low ropes, and outdoor living skills.  Plans and implements weekly camp themes and daily large group games in accordance with camp's weekly themes while incorporating the values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.  Will live with a cabin group, providing support to the cabin leader.

Counselor Development Program (CDP) Leader – must be 21 yrs or older, 1 position, 7.5 weeks, $55-$60/day  ($330-$360/week)  Will work with the CDP Director to provide quality leadership programs that are safe, fun, and develop our CDPs into future cabin leaders here at camp.  Will co-lead a week long wilderness excursion with CDP Director and up to 10 participants.  In addition, this person may assist with coordinating and organizing the camp schedule and activities. Experience working with teens is preferred.  Will live with a cabin group, supporting the cabin leader.  An acceptable driving record, current Wildness First Aid or Wilderness First Responder certification, previous wilderness camping experience and two seasons camp or other leadership experience required

Teen Director – must be 21 yrs or older, 1 position, 8 weeks, $55-$65/day  ($330-$390/week)

Provides quality teen leadership programs that are safe, fun, and encourage teens to grow and learn in a supportive environment.  In addition, this person may assist with coordinating and organizing the camp schedule and activities. Previous camping experience is required.  Experience working with teens is preferred.  Will work with the camp leadership team to administer the camp program.  Will live with a cabin group, supporting the cabin leader.  An acceptable driving record and two seasons camp or other leadership experience required.

Trip Director – must be 21 yrs or older, 1 position, 8 weeks, $55-$65/day  ($330-$390/week)

Responsible for all aspects of trip planning including risk management, camper and staff supervision, organization of supplies, and logistics for all trips leaving camp.  Will work with the camp leadership team to administer the camp program.  Will live with a cabin group, supporting the cabin leader.  An acceptable driving record and two seasons camp or other leadership experience required

Waterfront Director – must be 21 yrs or older, one position, 8 - 12 weeks, $55-$65/day  ($330-$390/week)

Responsible for planning and directing waterfront activities that follow YMCA and ACA risk management guidelines.  Will work with the camp leadership team to administer the camp program.  Will live with a cabin group, supporting the cabin leader.  Six weeks of waterfront lifeguard experience, an acceptable driving record, and current lifeguard certification required.

Assistant Cook - (must be 18 yrs. or older, one position) May – September $75-$90 per day.  Assist Head Cook with preparation of meals and maintenance of kitchen. Previous cooking/baking experience required.

Head Cook - (must be 21 yrs. or older, one position) May – September $90-$120 per dayThe Head cook is responsible for all aspects of food service for groups using Camp including cooking, dishwashing, menu development, purchasing, establishing and enforcing health standards and inventory control.  Previous cooking/baking experience required.

Kitchen Support - must be 18 yrs or older, 2 positions, 8-10 weeks May/June-Labor Day, $55-$60/day  ($330- $360/week) Provide support in the kitchen doing food prep, baking, dishwashing, and cleaning.  Room and board is provided and this position will live in cabin with a group supporting the cabin leader.

Maintenance Assistant- must be 18 yrs or older (21 to operate tractor and other vehicles), 2 positions, 8-12 weeks May/June-Labor Day, $55-$60/day  ($330- $360/week)  Provide support around camp doing various maintenance and kitchen duties such as dishwashing, and cleaning, janitorial and basic repairs.  Room and board is provided and this position will live in cabin with a group supporting the cabin leader.
