2017 Spring Work Parties

After our long winter, we’re in need of volunteers to help us get camp ready for the 2017 Spring and Summer seasons.

This spring we have two volunteer work parties scheduled for April 8-9, 2017 and April 22-23, 2017We will provide free lodging and meals for all those who are in attendance.  This is a great way to come get some hands on work and enjoy fellowship here at camp

We need folks who can (safely) run a saw and help pile up brush as we continue to Firewise the property, spread wood chips and maybe even run a wood splitter.  The snow collapsed a green house and a wood shed that needs rebuilding and when the ice broke up it moved the camp docks and now we need help in returning them to where they belong.

Some of the projects that we need volunteers for are:

  • Cleaning of the cabins
  • Opening up the waterfront and archery range for the summer season
  • Painting projects
  • Tending to burn piles/cleaning up storm debris
  • eating of s''mores
  • and much more!
